It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Dr. Marvin Dunn Academy for Community Education (ACE), home of the Jaguars, for another exciting and successful year filled with learning. Our ACE staff holds itself to the high expectation that every student can learn and is given the opportunity to experience learning in a supportive and effective manner. We strive daily to reach every student, so that they can become great innovators who critically think as well as collaborate effectively in the global community. We instill in students that it is through education that we as individuals are afforded the opportunity to become productive citizens and move upward in society. In addition, the aforementioned skills will help our students to make a difference in their community in their own unique ways.
Parents, I trust that your child’s experience at the ACE will be a life changing one. The 21st Century presents our students with more unique challenges and opportunities than ever before. I desire that all of our students take advantage of the array of services provided at our school to enhance their academic and social growth while attending our school. My expectation is that all of our students will graduate from ACE and become positive and productive citizens of the global community. ACE is a mandatory uniform school. Please carefully review the contracts that you will sign during the registration process with your child; compliance with these contracts is essential to your child’s success at ACE. I encourage you to play an active role in your child’s education as we work together to foster a love for learning in a disciplined environment.
